Terms of Service
Last updated: August 5, 2026
These terms govern your use of PlanMariage.ca. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of these terms
PlanMariage.ca (“PlanMariage”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Groupe Bien-aimé in Québec, Canada. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
PlanMariage lets couples create a bilingual wedding website, with features such as RSVP, gallery, schedule, and a shareable link, and, over time, optional premium planning tools (budget, digital invitations, guest management, seating, vendor marketplace). We may add, change, or remove features to improve the product.
3. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least the age of majority in your province to create an account.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Free service and premium features
The wedding website builder is, and will remain, free: your site, its templates, the gallery, RSVP and your shareable link cost nothing, with no watermark and no time limit. You can read and export the RSVP answers your guests send you on the free plan.
Premium is a one-time payment of CAD $59.99, plus applicable taxes shown at checkout, which gives the account that purchased it two (2) years of access to the paid planning tools: budget, tasks, digital invitations, Save the Date, guest management, bulk guest email, seating plan and the Memory Book. The two years run from the date of purchase. A second purchase adds two years to whatever time you have left.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Access is normally granted within a minute of payment; if it is not, write to us and we will activate it by hand.
When the two years end, your data is not deleted: your wedding site stays online and free, and you can still export your guest list. The paid planning tools stop being available until you purchase again.
Refunds: write to us within 15 days of purchase and we will refund you in full, no questions asked. After 15 days, contact us anyway and we will look at your situation. A refund ends the Premium access it paid for. This does not affect the rights the Consumer Protection Act gives you in Québec.
Features described as premium may change as the product grows. We will not remove a paid feature you rely on during your access period without offering an equivalent or a refund.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful.
- Upload content that infringes others' rights, is defamatory, or is otherwise objectionable.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.
- Use the service to send spam or to collect data about others without a lawful basis.
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you add to your wedding site (text, photos, guest information). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to provide and operate the service for you. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload, including photos and any personal information about your guests, and for complying with applicable privacy laws toward your guests.
7. Your wedding site and availability
Published sites may be served at a subdomain (for example, your-names.planmariage.ca). We aim to keep the service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation, and we may perform maintenance or updates. Per-couple sites are private and not indexed by search engines by default.
8. Our intellectual property
The PlanMariage name, logo, software, templates, and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to our brand or software beyond using the service as intended.
9. Vendors and third parties
The vendor directory lists independent third-party professionals for your convenience. We are not a party to any agreement between you and a vendor, do not guarantee their services, and are not responsible for your dealings with them. Any contract is strictly between you and the vendor.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will meet all your requirements or be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PlanMariage will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including certain consumer-protection rights in Québec).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold PlanMariage harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms or of any law or third-party right.
13. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if required by law. On termination, the licences you granted us end, except to the extent needed to comply with legal obligations or complete pending operations.
14. Changes to the service and terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
15. Governing law and language
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable laws of Canada, and any dispute will be submitted to the courts of Québec. The parties confirm their wish that these terms and related documents be drawn up in French; a courtesy English version is provided, and the French version prevails in case of conflict.
